A Workout Isn’t Just A Workout Anymore
Don’t feel like a workout today? Don’t have the energy to get up and put on those yoga pants? Can’t find your favorite sports bra? Did you sprain your pinkie? I get it, these sound like acceptable reasons to not work out. We all have our off days when we just. don’t. feel. like it!
But, what if your workout served more than just you? What if your workout not only impacted your physical and mental wellbeing but the life of someone else? Several someone else’s; like a whole country or the world for that matter. Would that motivate you to get up and put your not-so-favorite sports bra on and get into a downward dog? I bet it would.
Working out not only serves our personal wellbeing but it serves our family, it serves our community and it serves our world at large.
Think about it. When you’ve made the time to workout, haven’t you felt better for the rest of the day? Didn’t you have a more productive day at work or around the house, refrain from barking at your kids during the morning mad dash to school plus send your hubby off with a smooch instead of a grunt? Most likely, yes.
When we feel good, and improve our mental state to a higher vibration by creating endorphins, it creates a ripple effect not just in our home but also in our community and beyond.
I don’t know about you, but that’s pure motivation for me.
Let’s take it a step further, because we can and we should.
What if each time you busted a bead you were directly helping the life of a young woman, mother, or student?
Now, that’s changing the way we workout, right?
As a Pilates Instructor and a mother, I wanted to take the knowledge I’d gained and share it with as many women as possible. I’ve figured out a way to do just that and I hope it inspires you to do the same whether you join me in my soul journey or it inspires you to create your own.
What I’ve done for the last 10 years is raise my three daughters and teach Pilates, and now I’m teaching women that working out is about more than just their body.
I am committed to helping women find their strength in mind, body and soul. By offering Pilates via webcam, I can reach more women anywhere in the world in the convenience of their own home.
In addition to building their physical and mental strength, each of my clients is an active participant in the development of a Mat Pilates teacher trainer course that I’m calling Pilates with Soul.
Please join me in the education and empowerment of women worldwide. Somebody else’s wellbeing depends on your workout. Get out there and take action. It’s as easy as opening your laptop.
