The Fearless Foursome:
After riding with our moto guides and hiking up the mountain, we made it to the top of a breathtaking view of Montrouis, Haiti. You can see the water surrounding us in the background. Amy, the second from the right, is responsible for this incredible trip to Haiti. She has dedicated her life to 7 children at House of Hope. She’s doing a phenomenal job rebuilding their home, nourishing the children and creating a loving environment for them.
Me and my moto driver. He was excellent maneuvering is way up the bumpy and windy roads. Although, that doesn’t mean I didn’t hold on for dear life. I was quite sore the next day. 🙂
Our motos drivers dropped us off and then we hiked the rest of the way. We made a few friends along the way- I can’t get over their sweet little faces.
Our moto gang making our way up the mountain. We’re not really sure what we’re in for at this point.
Here I am with a couple of the sweet girls at House of Hope. We’re looking at photos from Katie’s (my travel buddy) previous trip. The little nugget behind me wants to play.
The little one likes to cuddle and I was happy to do so. Little Olsen has my heart.
Katie and I in a tap-tap on the way to the market with “mama” to get food for the kids for the week. Due to my claustrophobic tendencies, I sat on the outside of the covered truck bed.
Here we go, the whole gang, with our moto dudes. This was such a blast.
Our first day with the kids in the ocean. Beautiful day, warm water and some strong waves.
Stay tuned for more!
Lots of love,
The Pilates Mama
